Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to personal information when you contact me through this portfolio. It is written for the contact journey rather than as a blanket claim about third-party websites.
Who is responsible
Cameron Calder is responsible for personal information submitted through this portfolio. For privacy questions or requests, email camcalder97@gmail.com.
Contact information
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. Please do not submit passwords, account details, health information, or other sensitive personal information.
Direct delivery is currently disabled. Submitting the form opens a draft in your email application; the portfolio does not receive the fields unless you send that email.
Why I use it
I use enquiry information to understand and respond to your message, manage the resulting professional correspondence, and protect the contact route from abuse.
I rely on legitimate interests for this processing. Those interests are receiving and responding to professional enquiries and keeping a reliable way for people to contact me about work or related topics.
Service providers and transfers
This site is hosted by Vercel, which may process limited technical request data for security and operations. The application does not intentionally write form contents, IP addresses, or user agents to its logs.
When you send the email draft or email me directly, Google provides Gmail and processes the resulting correspondence. Vercel and Google may process information outside the UK. Their linked notices describe how they handle information and the safeguards they use. Google says it relies on UK adequacy mechanisms, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses where required.
Retention
There is currently no fixed deletion schedule for portfolio enquiries held in Gmail. I keep correspondence to handle an enquiry and maintain relevant professional records. You can ask me to review or delete my copy using the address above. Some information may need to be retained where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your information. Email me to make a request.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Analytics and local preferences
No persistent product-analytics sink or advertising tracker is currently configured. The theme control may save a light or dark preference in your browser’s local storage. The site does not use that preference to identify you.
